Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Audit Leader to spearhead our audit and taxation functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to manage dispersed teams, and a keen eye for detail.

The role involves preparing and submitting reports, including statutory financial statements, direct and indirect taxes, and other regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Lead and motivate a team of specialists to ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns, declarations, and mandated reports.
  2. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members, fostering an environment conducive to achieving individual and collective goals.
  3. Oversee the preparation of financial statements in alignment with Local GAAP.
  4. Calculate current, advance, and deferred tax in accordance with Hyva's accounting policies based on IFRS.
  5. Ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations through the maintenance of local transfer pricing files.
  6. Drive Continuous Process Improvement (CI) initiatives to identify efficient ways of working.
  7. Collaborate with the Global Tax Manager on tax planning and strategic projects.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educational background: Qualified Chartered Accountant or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Professional experience: 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership expertise with a readiness to manage remote teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
