Job Title

As a key member of our team, the Coating Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of coating applications on various surfaces.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect coatings on different surfaces to verify compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Evaluate and document the quality of coating applications, including thickness measurements and surface preparation.
  • Identify defects or inconsistencies in coatings and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with production teams to maintain high-quality output and ensure adherence to quality control processes.
  • Develop and implement inspection protocols and quality assurance procedures.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections conducted.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in coating inspection or a related field.
  • Knowledge of various coating materials and their properties.
  • Familiarity with inspection techniques and equipment, such as dry film thickness gauges and adhesion testers.
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to coatings (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify defects and ensure quality compliance.
  • Effective communication skills to convey inspection results and collaborate with team members.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and reporting purposes.
