Industrial Insulation Specialist Role:

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial Insulation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of applying, removing, and repairing insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, and mechanical systems to control noise and maintain temperatures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply Insulation Materials: Select and apply the appropriate insulation materials based on heat retaining or excluding characteristics to ensure effective insulation.
  • Use Power Tools: Use hand or power tools to fabricate, assemble, repair, and install insulation.
  • Cover and Seal Surfaces: Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces with metallic or nonmetallic covers, canvas strips, sealants, tape, cement, or asphalt mastic.
  • Inspect and Assess Installations: Inspect and assess installations and conditions, and adjust, repair, or replace insulation materials to ensure effective insulation.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Industrial Insulator.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in insulation construction or repair in industrial settings.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina to handle the job's physical demands.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations and best practices.
  • High school diploma or Professional School diploma or equivalent.
  • A certificate in insulation or a related field is preferred.
