Narrative Design Opportunity

Crafting compelling stories and dialogue for interactive games is at the heart of this role. As a skilled Narrative Designer, you will create engaging narrative flows, character arcs, and dialogue that respond to player choices while aligning with gameplay and tone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop memorable characters and conversations through written dialogue, interactions, and narrative events.
  • Design and implement branching story flows using specialized tools for a seamless player experience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate story with gameplay and visuals.
  • Envision rich character backstories, lore, and world-building elements that immerse players in the game world.
  • Maintain consistency of tone, pacing, and player agency across the narrative to keep players engaged.
Requirements:
  • Strong writing skills, especially in dialogue-driven storytelling, focusing on crafting memorable characters and conversations.
  • Experience working with interactive/branching narratives in games, visual novels, or similar projects.
  • Background in mystery, detective, or choice-driven genres, with a deep understanding of narrative structure and player engagement.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have: Familiarity with narrative design tools such as Ink, Yarn Spinner, Fungus, or custom Unity graph systems can be beneficial in this role.
