Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Mac Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Apple hardware and software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide top-notch support to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support for macOS-based systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. They will also assist end-users with issues related to MacBooks, iMacs, macOS updates, and commonly used applications.

In addition, the Mac Support Specialist will perform routine maintenance, system checks, and software updates. They will configure and support Apple Mail, MS Outlook, VPN, printers, and network connectivity on macOS.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in Mac desktop support or a similar role. They will have a solid understanding of macOS, Apple hardware, and the Apple ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for macOS-based systems
  • Assist end-users with issues related to MacBooks, iMacs, and macOS updates
  • Perform routine maintenance, system checks, and software updates
  • Configure and support Apple Mail, MS Outlook, VPN, printers, and network connectivity on macOS
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, and system preferences
  • Deploy, configure, and manage macOS devices using Jamf Pro
  • Support for other MDM platforms like Intune or Kandji at a basic level
  • Document support issues, resolutions, and processes in a ticketing system
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 1 year of experience in Mac desktop support or a similar role
  • Solid understanding of macOS, Apple hardware, and the Apple ecosystem
  • Familiarity with basic networking (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN) and troubleshooting steps
  • Experience with remote support tools (e.g., Apple Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, AnyDesk)
  • Exposure to Jamf Pro or other MDM tools for device management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
  • Jamf Certified Associate
