Financial Compliance Specialist

Role Summary:
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance procedures.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail to manage compliance risks, conduct regular internal reviews, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regulatory guidelines relevant to the business.
- Maintain accurate documentation for internal compliance controls.
- Educate internal teams on compliance obligations through training and awareness programs.
- Conduct regular internal risk assessments.
- Identify process gaps and propose corrective actions.
- Track remediation of compliance issues and ensure timely closure.
- Support internal, statutory, and regulatory audits.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure organization-wide compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, or risk management, preferably in fintech or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of RBI, SEBI, FEMA, AML, and other financial regulations.
- Experience with compliance monitoring tools and MS Excel-based reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
