Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage statutory filings, compliance with the Companies Act, income tax, TDS provisions, and financial statements preparation. This role requires strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a focus on delivering accurate financial information.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding statutory filings, compliance, and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns with government agencies.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
  • Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve legal or compliance issues related to statutory filings and financial statements.
  • E nsure compliance with GST regulations, including timely filing of returns and addressing GST-related queries.
  • Provide accurate and reliable financial information to clients.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to statutory filings, compliance, and financial statements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience in finance operations, statutory filings, and financial statements preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, income tax provisions, TDS regulations, GST laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
