Job Title: Cloud Migration SME

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cloud migrations to public cloud platforms, leveraging their expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting languages, and AWS migration tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage 6+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible & shell scripting to drive IaC adoption.
  • Develop and implement scripts using Python or Groovy to automate cloud migration processes.
  • Utilize AWS Migration Hub and Matilda to streamline data centre migrations to AWS or other public cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy large-scale cloud architectures.
  • Pursue AWS Architect certification to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Stay current with evolving Database technology and its applications in the cloud.
  • Liaise with technical stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of AWS services and security technologies in hybrid environments.
  • Maintain visibility into operational and monitoring tools across the entire cloud ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Windows Virtual Machines and Linux Virtual Machines, including deployment and management.
  • Drive DevOps tooling adoption and migration to support continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Lead the creation of High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation to inform cloud migration strategies.
