Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cloud infrastructure engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our applications and services.

Job Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and best practices.
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, and more.
  • Ability to design and implement secure and scalable infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc., to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency in monitoring system performance, availability, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, GuardDuty, Inspector, and AWS Security Hub.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve critical infrastructure and application issues as an escalation point.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with development teams to ensure compliance and enforce cloud security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.
  • Provide L3-level support for AWS environments, including troubleshooting and resolving critical issues.
  • Manage and optimize Amazon RDS instances, backup policies, multi-AZ deployments, read replicas, performance tuning, and failover testing.
  • Lead or support migration of workloads from on-premises environments to AWS using AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service (MGN), DMS, or Snowball.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, GuardDuty, Inspector, and AWS Security Hub.
