Job Title: BIM Modeler

We are seeking a skilled BIM modeler to join our team. As a leading manufacturer of custom architectural fiberglass and GFRC products, we specialize in design, engineering, and fabrication.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating construction drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software and for 3D modeling experience using Revit Software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish projects, create parametric families, provide materials, and manage the Revit server from the production perspective.
  • Complete attachment, detail markups for company products.
  • Translate less specific design direction into functional documents.
  • BIM Modeling:
  • Create 3D BIM models using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Implement BIM best practices, including LOD (Level of Development) standards.
  • Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Documentation:
  • Generate accurate construction documents and drawings from BIM models.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date BIM documentation system.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure BIM models meet industry standards and client requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
  • Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
