Unlock the value of your data and applications by designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.

As a Citrix Solutions Architect, you will guide customers from what's now to what's next by providing comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing management of virtual desktop solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solution Design Architect: End-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
  2. Citrix Integration: Design and integrate Citrix products including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services.
  3. Azure Virtual Desktop Configuration: Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments.
  4. Identity and Access Management: Design and implement identity and access management strategies including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments.
  5. Network Infrastructure: Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
  6. Performance Optimization: Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience by monitoring and tuning resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth.
  7. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
  8. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
  9. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure and identify and troubleshoot performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent documentation and communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
