Senior Technology Leader

We seek a Senior Technology Leader to oversee the IT infrastructure, desktop engineering team and ensure seamless operation of computing resources.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting virtual environments, network architecture and software & hardware troubleshooting. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong leadership abilities and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the entire IT infrastructure including servers, networks and security systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Desktop Engineering Team Management: Lead and manage the desktop engineering team to provide end-user support and ensure smooth operation of desktop computing resources.
  • Technical Policy Development: Develop and implement technical policies, standards and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of systems.
  • Collaboration with Departments: Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions that align with company objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Team Management and Mentorship: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and maintain documentation and procedures for audits.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced Technical Skills: Advanced experience managing and troubleshooting VM environments, network architecture and software & hardware troubleshooting.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong leadership abilities and exceptional communication skills.
  • Industry Certifications: Relevant industry certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Master of Computer Applications.
  • Experience: 8 - 10 years of experience with at least 3~4 years of experience in leading/managing an IT team/projects.
