Job Title: Application Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Application Specialist to support our business functions by describing and documenting business requirements for the application in scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Business Functions: Describe and document business requirements for the application in scope.
  • Develop Maintenance Plan: Convert business requirements into a development maintenance plan for the application in scope, respecting global IT strategy and plan, policies, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Specialists: Ensure a consistent solution and long-term governance of data.

You will stay updated on vendor updates, patches, and fixes, contribute to the development and maintenance plan, and introduce new functionality to drive business efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Business Knowledge: Stay updated on, and evaluate vendor updates, patches, and fixes.
  • Development Planning: Contribute with skills and knowledge to the development and maintenance plan for the application.
  • Change Management: Introduce new functionality and propose changes to drive business efficiency.

In addition, you will follow up on quality, performance, and cost efficiency of the application in scope, document and maintain records of business requirements, and provide second- and third-line support when needed.

Mandates:
  • Plan Development: Propose and define the development and maintenance plan for the application in scope, in collaboration with business owner, business stakeholders, and the architecture team.
  • Implementation: Define the implementation of changes for the application in scope.
  • Testing: Approve test protocols.
