OutSystems Developer Lead

The company is seeking an experienced OutSystems developer to lead the development of local applications using the OutSystems platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and investigating issues raised on existing applications;
  • Providing expert-level assistance to create new applications and their support using the OutSystems platform;
  • Leveraging strong customer relationships to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings;
  • Leading efforts with web and marketing teams to increase the presence of web products;
  • Implementing improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems;
  • Developing and defining application scope and objectives, and supervising the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of experience with OutSystems, with expertise in C/C++ and operating system internals;
  • Multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience, and expert-level experience with business and technical applications;
  • Good understanding of APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as rapid application development tools;
  • Strong experience with web technologies, including REST, JSON, and XML Web Services;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to identify, evaluate, and fix application performance bottlenecks;
  • Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with ability to provide troubleshooting support and coordinate with other teams as necessary;
  • Be a problem solver, customer-oriented, and with great soft skills.
