Job Title: Solar Power Plant Design Lead

About the Job

This is a highly skilled role that requires strong engineering expertise in civil and structural design. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to manage the design activities of solar power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality engineering drawings and documents on time
  • Review and approve vendor deliverables related to engineering
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure inter-departmental checks are conducted
  • Provide technical support and clarifications to the site execution team
  • Lead a team of design engineers and draughts persons to manage engineering activities within budget and schedule
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • A minimum of 8-20 years of experience in design aspects of solar PV power plants and power distribution projects
  • Excellent technical skills in civil and structural design, including control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, grading, roads, and drainage
  • Strong project management skills, including estimating and planning man-hour requirements
  • Ability to multitask and deliver multiple tasks on time
