Regional Contract Management Executive

Job Description:

  • Oversees the performance, governance, and risk management of contracts across various categories with a significant spend. Ensures these contracts deliver value exceeding negotiated terms.
  • Responsible for implementing enterprise procurement transformation projects in line with global objectives and standards, covering source-to-pay processes, taxonomy, and rate management platforms.
  • Accountable for regional budget process ownership, collaborating closely with finance and procurement teams to achieve cost plans.
  • Leads the development and implementation of Ocean Procurement Strategy Roadmaps, facilitating monthly and quarterly strategy sessions.
  • Acts as a bridge between Ocean Procurement and Operations teams, promoting cost optimization and recovery initiatives by providing visibility into contract terms and implementation.
  • Designs and implements long-term Regional Contract Management strategies and products, aligning with global objectives.
  • Collaborates with the Platforms organization on digital and process innovation requirements through the Operational Priorities process and contributes to business case proposals.
  • Accountable for improving payment performance and vendor experience, working in conjunction with CC&AP and Procure to Pay teams.

People Management:

  • Leads and develops a Contract Management team (6 direct reports) spread across 3 continents.
  • Builds and upgrades team capabilities in line with the Global Transformation agenda.
  • Enables the Procurement function to think beyond traditional boundaries, focusing on long-term value-driven solutions with partners, including Digital, Supplier Performance, Customer Centricity, ESG, and P2P Process Standardization.
