Senior Staff Engineer Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of complex System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures with multi-core, multi-threaded processor subsystems, Artificial Intelligence (AI) accelerators, interconnects, memory architecture, and multi-level caches.

The successful candidate will contribute to and manage a team for the development of SoC architecture, microarchitecture, and design, including RISC-V, ARM, or proprietary processor designs, and high-speed interfaces for off-chip memories, along with the integration of wireless systems, power management, and mixed-signal IP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of Wireless SoCs from definition, through execution, and into production.
  • Coordinate with product marketing teams to develop SoC requirements.
  • Develop and maintain SoC architecture or technical specification to meet product requirements.
  • Develop design schedule, including milestones and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on dependencies.
  • Represent design community to provide weekly status and attend cross-functional meeting.
  • Perform SoC design integration and maintain design collateral.
  • Follow established quality procedures and processes to achieve first tapeout.
  • Actively support validation and product test teams during silicon bringup, validation, characterization, and qualification.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership and technical skills.
  • Experience in developing complex SoC architectures.
  • Knowledge of multi-core, multi-threaded processor subsystems, AI accelerators, interconnects, memory architecture, and multi-level caches.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
