Transportation Planning Expert

We are seeking an experienced transportation planning expert to join our team in a senior role. As a senior transport modeler, you will be responsible for developing strategic demand models for large-scale master plans and road corridor studies. You will also work on preparing travel demand calculations for large-scale master plans and assist in analyzing land-use, demographic, and traffic data.

In this role, you will conduct capacity analysis for roads and intersections using relevant software for existing and future scenarios. Additionally, you will prepare technical reports based on the evaluation of mitigation measures for strategic models.

You will work in coordination with transport planners and multidisciplinary teams across various projects. Your responsibilities may include supporting master planning, district masterplans, TOD, public realm, and streetscape projects.

Key Requirements
  • Expertise in strategic modeling using PTV VISUM.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as R, Python, or others.
  • Strong analytical abilities with high competence in MS Excel, VBA, and Macros.
  • Working knowledge of other modeling tools such as VISSIM, Sidra, Synchro.
  • Master's degree in Transportation Engineering/Planning + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in traffic and demand modeling.
