About this opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Operations Manager to lead our accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling end-to-end accounting for consumer brands, particularly in high-growth environments.

  • Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, payroll, and inventory accounting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
  • Maintain clean and compliant financial records in line with IFRS.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Work with external auditors and government bodies for audits and inspections.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts with insights into sales, margins, and operational expenditures.
  • Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, and present actionable insights.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. CA preferred but not mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a D2C or e-commerce environment.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).
  • Solid understanding of marketplace accounting and Shopify integrations.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead a small team of accountants and coordinate with external consultants and auditors.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to align financial goals.
