Job Title: CardiologistAbout the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for a Cardiologist to join our team and take on a variety of responsibilities.

  • To teach, mentor, and supervise students in clinical settings and academic environments.
  • To conduct and publish research in cardiovascular pharmacology and therapeutics, epidemiology of heart diseases, and clinical trials of cardiovascular drugs or interventions.
Responsibilities
  • Teaching & Instruction: Deliver lectures, seminars, and case-based sessions on topics such as cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology of heart diseases, cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, diagnostic tools, and supervising clinical case discussions.
  • Research: Conduct and publish research in areas such as cardiovascular pharmacology and therapeutics, epidemiology of heart diseases, and clinical trials of cardiovascular drugs or interventions.
  • Clinical/Pharma Collaboration (Optional): Collaborate with cardiology departments in teaching hospitals, liaise with pharmaceutical companies on cardiovascular drug development, participate in CME activities.
  • Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental activities, curriculum design, quality assurance, serve on institutional committees, assist in organizing academic events.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications: MBBS with MD/DNB in Cardiology or Internal Medicine, OR M.Pharm/Pharm.D with specialization in Cardiovascular Pharmacology.
  • Desirable Qualifications: PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences or related fields, experience in teaching and clinical supervision, publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Skills and Competencies
  • Deep Knowledge of Cardiovascular Medicine and Pharmacotherapy.
  • Strong Teaching, Communication, and Mentoring Skills.
  • Ability to Engage in Interdisciplinary Research.
  • Competence with Diagnostic Software, Simulation Tools, and Digital Learning Platforms.
  • Ethical and Professional Conduct in Clinical/Academic Settings.
