Job Title: Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Team Member to join our kitchen team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking food to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare food efficiently, economically, and hygienically as per standard recipes and procedures.
  • Support: Support the Sous Chef or the Chef de Partie in ensuring smooth operation of the kitchen and prompt service at all times.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with recipes, standards, and plating guides.
  • HACCP: Maintain all HACCP aspects within the hotel's operation.
  • Maintenance: Use all equipment, tools, and machines appropriately.
  • Events: Work on off-site events when tasked.
  • Flexibility: Complete tasks and jobs outside of the kitchen when requested.
  • Inventory: Assist in inventory taking.
  • Knowledge: Knowledgeable of hotel occupancy, events, forecasts, and achievements.
  • Guest Feedback: Effectively respond to every guest's feedback.
  • Adaptability: Learn and adapt to changes.
  • Teamwork: Maintain at all times a professional and positive attitude towards team members and supervisors.
  • Rules and Handbook: Adhere to established hotel rules and team member handbook, ensuring all team members under your supervision do so as well for the department to operate smoothly.
  • Training: Attend and actively participate in all training sessions.
  • Quality Control: Check that the quality of food prepared by team members meet the required standards and make necessary adjustments.
