As a UAV Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of unmanned flight. We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to contribute to the design and development of advanced Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for defense, commercial, and industrial applications.

Our team is passionate about designing and developing innovative solutions for the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and contributing to the conceptual and detailed design of UAV airframes and sub-systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to the conceptual and detailed design of UAV airframes and sub-systems.
  • Perform aerodynamic analysis and optimization of UAV configurations.
  • Design structural components and assemblies using advanced composite and lightweight materials.
  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
  • Work closely with electronics, propulsion, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Conduct structural and thermal analysis (FEA, CFD) to validate design performance.
  • Participate in UAV prototyping, assembly, ground testing, and flight trials.
  • Document design processes, BOMs, and support regulatory compliance for airworthiness.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and structural design. Proficiency in CAD software and experience with composite materials and UAV fabrication techniques are also highly desirable.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in UAV or aircraft design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and structural design.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with flight testing and UAV system integration, as well as knowledge of FEA/CFD tools.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience designing VTOL, hybrid, or long-endurance UAV platforms.
  • Familiarity with autopilot systems and avionics integration is plus.
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of electric propulsion systems and battery technologies.
