Job Description

The role of DevSecOps Manager plays a crucial part in guiding teams to integrate security practices into software development and operations processes.

This management position brings expertise to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous security, and efficiency.

The DevSecOps Manager is responsible for building and managing a team of DevSecOps engineers.

The team collaborates closely with other cross-functional teams, offering strategic insights to enhance security measures across the entire software development lifecycle.

This position requires a profound understanding of DevSecOps principles, hands-on implementation, and ability to navigate evolving cybersecurity threats.

Main responsibilities include creating and implementing security practices and tools within CI/CD pipelines, identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, designing and developing solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements, and overseeing security incidents.

The DevSecOps Manager must align security practices with project goals in development, operations, and security teams, set up and manage security monitoring tools and processes, and ensure comprehensive documentation of security practices and incidents.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of proven work experience in DevSecOps, security engineering, or a related field, with people management experience and technical skills including proficiency in scripting languages, knowledge of security practices for AWS, Azure, and GCP, and familiarity with security services like Wiz, SIEM, SOC, and SentinelOne.
