Job Title: Chief Engineering Officer

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive the development of our next-generation enterprise technology platform. As a Chief Engineering Officer, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering team to deliver innovative software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create technical task lists, provide guidance to the team, and ensure adherence to company standards and best practices
  2. Develop innovative approaches for delivering tailored solutions leveraging advanced domain knowledge, technology competency, and industry exposure
  3. Establish and develop strong professional relationships with product management, analytics, and technology groups, and act as the engineering anchor
  4. Collaborate with technical developers, review deliverables for accuracy, quality, application performance, and completeness
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a history of successfully building functionally rich, high-performance, scalable, and multi-tenant platforms
  • Solid experience in building secure platforms
  • A substantial track record of success in bringing innovative software products to market
  • Very strong background in Java technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enterprise platform experience with both thin and thick client experience
  • Passion for building applications that are sensitive to memory, bandwidth, latency, and tough performance constraints
  • Deeply conversant in technologies like Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML, DOM/SAX Parsers, Swings, HTML, CSS, C++, JBoss, JSP, EJB 2.0, Struts 2.0, Servlets, Kodo (ORM), JMS, RMI, Quartz, ANT, Drools, various file systems, XML, DB (SQL, Oracle, DB2), DMS, Web Services, LDAP integration
