Strategic Planning Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning professional to support our Commercial Solutions team.

The role involves assisting in the development and execution of strategic plans and initiatives for various business areas within Commercial Solutions, as well as creating strategic materials for executive meetings.

Candidates will work closely with the extended Strategic Operations team, BU Leads, and other key internal stakeholders in the broader organization.

  • Support driving and steering the annual planning cycle and multi-year strategic planning in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, analyze global and local industry reports, and adopt best practices to inform strategic planning efforts.
  • Provide industry-specific market insights, market landscape, competitors/customer analysis based on project requirements through desk/secondary research.
  • Provide data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership based on analysis, and use data and domain knowledge to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Drive preparation for executive meetings (e.g., monthly business reviews, operating reviews, and other regular or ad-hoc executive meetings).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • A master's/MBA degree is preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, M&A advisory, or a related field.
