Program Manager for Retail and E-commerce Transformation

As a Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes by overseeing project execution, resource allocation, and process improvement. Your expertise in managing cross-functional teams, agile projects, and translating business strategy into roadmaps will be invaluable to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing comprehensive project plans that meet timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, allocating resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Promote and implement best practices for software development and project management, regularly reviewing and refining processes to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases and generate regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 2+ years of program management experience.
  • 5+ years of project management and/or related experience.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • Education and/or strong work experience in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience managing agile projects.
  • Demonstrated experience translating business strategy into roadmaps.
  • Proven experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints.

Must-Haves:

  • Project experience with retail or e-commerce systems or in the retail domain.
  • Good understanding of Java, Oracle DB, and Webservices.
  • Excellent communication skills with cross-functional and different time zone teams.
  • Good understanding of design and product concepts.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
  • Experience with the JIRA tool.
  • Experience collaborating with North American counterparts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process gap analysis and implementing best practices.
