Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical skills and expertise in lease accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the accuracy and completeness of financial close, internal, and external reporting processes related to lease transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) for lease accounting, including documentation and governance procedures.
  • Perform analysis of legal documents to determine lease classification according to U.S. GAAP ASC 842.
  • Conduct regular review and testing of lease classification to ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP ASC 842 standards.
  • Collaborate with senior staff on a daily basis to discuss project progress and address any questions or concerns.
  • Complete monthly close processes, including subledger work in CoStar, general ledger entries, and internal and external financial reporting deliverables.
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate accounting and reporting of lease transactions.
