We are looking for a skilled Accountant and Finance Specialist to join our team. As an Accountant and Finance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and reliability of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test cases for accounting software based on business and accounting requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Taxation, and Payroll.
  • Validate double-entry bookkeeping principles across all transactions and ensure accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of ledgers.
  • Test compliance with relevant tax rules and regulations, including VAT, GST, Corporate Tax, and Withholding Tax.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA/CA/ACCA certification preferred).

Strong understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, ledgers, and taxation frameworks.

Experience with Tally and Zoho software is required.

Familiarity with test management tools, such as JIRA and TestRail, is desirable.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical teams.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to ERP or accounting systems, such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally, and NetSuite.
  • Understanding of automation testing tools.
  • Experience in audit, compliance, or financial reporting.
