Job Opportunity:

This is a high-level position in the organization responsible for managing maintenance activities and ensuring safe operation of equipment.

The Electrical and Instrumentation Manager will oversee preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and calibration of instruments and electrical equipment. They will ensure compliance with all legal requirements and coordinate with regional teams to implement best maintenance practices.

  • Develop and implement effective engineering norms to meet or exceed maintenance requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to implement Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM) and other best practices.
  • Ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements for instrumentation and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage departmental activities for instrumentation and electrical maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for nucleonic gauges and radiological safety.
  • Implement digitalization initiatives like OT security and maintain loss of safety culture (LOSC).
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies for maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external teams to ensure efficient maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electronics and Communication.
  • 10-12 years of experience in plant maintenance.
  • Training and certification in radiation safety and nucleonic gauges.
  • Active registration on ELORA AERB website.

Additional Skills:

  • Fluency in English, Gujarati, and Hindi languages.
  • Experience in SAP and PLC programming.
  • Knowledge of power management and automation systems.
