A Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the upkeep of facilities equipment and grounds Their duties include performing routine maintenance troubleshooting and repairing issues and ensuring the overall functionality and safety of a building and its systems They may work on HVAC electrical plumbing and other building systems Key Responsibilities Routine Maintenance Performing regular inspections preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs on equipment machinery and building systems Troubleshooting and Repairs Diagnosing and repairing mechanical electrical and plumbing problems Facility Upkeep Maintaining the building s interior and exterior including landscaping and general cleanliness Safety and Compliance Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations Inventory Management Tracking and maintaining inventory of parts and supplies Emergency Response Responding to emergency maintenance requests and providing on-call support Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills Knowledge of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems as well as experience with tools and diagnostic equipment Problem-solving Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively Physical Dexterity Manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks Communication Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Safety Awareness Understanding of safety protocols and regulations Detail-oriented Attention to detail to ensure thorough and accurate maintenance Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 20 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Experience Maintenance 2 years Required Work Location In person
