Job description Job Title Plant Maintenance Technician Department Maintenance Engineering Location Angamaly Kerala Job Type Full-Time Reports To Maintenance Supervisor Manager Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance on machinery equipment and facility systems The role involves diagnosing faults carrying out repairs and supporting smooth operations through preventive maintenance This position plays a vital role in maintaining safety minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment efficiency in a manufacturing environment Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on machines utilities and infrastructure Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs to reduce production delays Replace or fix faulty parts using appropriate tools and techniques Support the installation and setup of new equipment or systems Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report recurring problems Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements or upgrades Work closely with other departments to ensure maintenance supports production goals Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment Track inventory of tools and spare parts and inform the supervisor of low stock Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical certification preferred At least 4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a plant or industrial setting Strong knowledge of electrical mechanical hydraulic and HVAC systems Ability to understand technical manuals blueprints and schematics Familiar with industrial safety practices and use of protective equipment Basic computer literacy for logging maintenance data Physically fit to handle lifting bending and working in confined or elevated spaces Preferred Skills Equipment fault diagnosis and problem-solving Experience in industrial maintenance especially in manufacturing Understanding of control systems and basic PLC knowledge Attention to detail and a proactive approach to equipment care Working Conditions Exposure to noise dust heat and industrial chemicals May require working in shifts including weekends or on-call support PPE must be worn as per safety guidelines Experience Plant Maintenance Electrical Mechanical Minimum 4 years Preferred Location Preference Candidates based in or near Angamaly Kerala are preferred Job Type Full-time Benefits Provident Fund Experience plant maintenance technician 3 years Preferred Work Location In person Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
