Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with respect to GST, VAT, CST, Entry Tax and Entertainment Tax.

Closure of Indirect Tax Assessments

You will be responsible for closure of indirect tax assessments of VAT, CST, Entry Tax and Entertainment Tax. This involves analyzing complex tax data, identifying areas of non-compliance, and implementing corrective actions to ensure timely closures.

Active Participation in GST Audit

A key aspect of this role is active participation in GST audit, which involves reviewing and analyzing financial records, identifying discrepancies, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Communication and Liaison

You will also be responsible for dealing with government departments, such as Commercial Taxes and Entertainment Taxes, and following up with consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualification

Our ideal candidate will have a CA/LLB qualification, which demonstrates a strong understanding of accounting and taxation principles.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, strong liaisoning capabilities with government departments, and a good understanding of MS Office and Oracle software.
