Release Management and DevOps Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Release Management and DevOps professional to spearhead our initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Change Request (CR) creation, cross-team coordination, and automation-driven delivery pipelines, along with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across multiple environments.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of releases with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain release calendars and coordinate with stakeholders for alignment.
Change Request (CR) Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, tracking, and managing CRs through their lifecycle. This includes ensuring compliance with internal governance and external audit requirements as well as collaborating with business and technical teams to assess impact and risk.

Cross-Functional Coordination

This role requires the ability to act as a liaison between development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams. The individual will facilitate release readiness meetings and post-release reviews while resolving conflicts and dependencies across teams to ensure smooth delivery.

DevOps & Automation

The selected candidate will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc. Additionally, they will monitor and optimize deployment processes for scalability and reliability while driving adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Release Management and DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile processes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, Groovy).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git), ticketing tools (JIRA, ServiceNow), and monitoring tools.
