Job Title: Project Director

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will lead and oversee all aspects of large-scale construction projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. This involves planning, scheduling, coordination, procurement, contracts, architecture, design, and quality control.

  • Establish project baselines, schedules, and reporting mechanisms to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Conduct contract familiarization, attend kickoff meetings, and prepare site organization charts and resource plans.
  • Review and input on construction schedules, develop site infrastructure requirements, and estimate costs.
  • Participate in 3D model reviews, constructability studies, and provide construction-related inputs.
  • Coordinate engineering disciplines for BOQ/tendering, estimate costs, prepare tenders, analyze technical bids, and participate in price negotiations for EPC contracts.
  • Set up site offices and infrastructure, monitor resource availability and construction materials.
  • Oversee billing schedules, progress reviews, contractor bill processing, and subcontracts closeout.
  • Resolve technical and contractual site queries, manage documentation for claims/escalations, and prepare completion reports with lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • High-level communication, decision-making, and technical field skills.
  • Expert coordination of cost, time, and quality parameters; MIS reporting; contractor billing and rate negotiation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Projects, and Primavera.
  • Fast-track planning abilities and out-of-the-box thinking.
