Key Role:

The successful Loan Operations Specialist will play a vital part in the Lending Services division, ensuring seamless loan servicing and administration. As an extension of our US-based client, this role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Examine commercial loan documents for accuracy and completeness, identifying key terms and credit agreements.
  • Enter loan details into the ACBS system, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, rate, repayment, accrual, collateral, etc.
  • Interpret complex loan structures and loan documentation, including large syndicated transactions.
  • Translate key terms from commercial loan documents into the ACBS system.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activities, including advances, payments, rate changes, and ACBS system posting.
  • Monitor and perform ACBS system input as needed for timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes.
  • Collaborate with the agent bank to balance and resolve portfolio issues.
  • Process daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients, performing necessary analysis and system input.
  • Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing.
  • Analyze daily exception reports, determining necessary monetary and system maintenance required for resolution.
  • Conduct research requests and analyze loan documentation as part of that research.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding loan balance, rate information, loan statement questions, advance and payment inquiries.
