We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, optimization and automation of CAD/EDA infrastructure for global design teams.

This role involves re-architecting worldwide LSF setups, implementing advanced features like fair share and preemption, and building dashboards for resource utilization and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Advanced Features: Define, architect and implement advanced LSF features such as license fair share, preemption, and global EDA tool license sharing.
  • Transform CAD Infrastructure: Lead the transformation of CAD-infrastructure LSF setup to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams.
  • Develop Environments: Architect and implement development, testing, and production environments for LSF enhancement.
  • Automate Key Processes: Automate key infrastructure processes such as resource utilization reporting, demand-supply analysis, and system health monitoring.
  • Ensure High Availability: Develop dashboards and proactive monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate Globally: Collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance LSF and RTM solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:

We require 8+ years of experience with LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments.

Strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management is essential.

Hands-on automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting) are required.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN) is also necessary.

Experience with version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) is a plus.

Understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases is highly desirable.
