Strategic IT Manager

Our team seeks an experienced IT manager to lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture vision and strategy.

  • Develop a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the architecture by identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

Additionally, we are seeking an individual who can foster platform reliability and efficiency through streamlined release management & execution.

  • Establish a consistent DevOps & CI/CD framework.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for designing and building customizations & configurations on the Platform as per business needs.

  • Accountable for creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and SDKs.

We are looking for someone who can strategize Platform Integrations while adhering to consistent integration standards and patterns.

  • Design integration workflows and build connectors.
  • Centralize build & run processes for integrations.
  • Implement a consistent DevOps model for integrations.

The successful candidate will identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, and resilient.

  • Design platform architecture that can scale to meet growing business needs and performance demands.

Maintaining comprehensive documentation of the platform architecture is crucial.

  • Develop and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models to support business needs.
  • Establish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and best practices.

Collaboration and requirements gathering are key skills for this role.

  • Work with collaborators to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that solutions meet both business and technical needs.
  • Perform impact assessments, clearly define AS-IS and TO-BE states, and recommend platform upgrades in accordance with new features and functionalities.

What We Expect of You

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 - 8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field OR Diploma with years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of Veeva Vault MedComms and PromoMats and their applications.
  • 6-8 years of Global Pharmaceutical experience.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical promotional materials business processes, like health agency submissions.
  • Experienced in pharmaceutical promotional materials regulations and specifications.
  • Experience in Team/People management.
  • Experienced in GxP process.
  • Experience with system integration and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience working in agile methodology, including Product Teams and Product Development models.
  • Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong solution design and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of technology, function, or platform.
  • Experience in developing differentiated and deliverable solutions.
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into solutions.
  • Knowledge of Platform and Data Governance.

Professional Certifications

  • Veeva Vault Platform Administrator (mandatory).
  • SAFe – DevOps Practitioner (mandatory).
  • SAFe for teams (preferred).

  • Should be able to convert business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated awareness of how to function in a team setting.
