Job Title: Assurance Supervisor 1

We are seeking a highly skilled Assurance Supervisor 1 to join our team. As an Assurance Supervisor 1, you will be responsible for providing timely, high-quality client service as part of the engagement teams serving large and small companies in a variety of industries.

  • You will develop strong working relationships while working closely with teams to understand and solve clients' complex businesses and challenges.
  • You will understand clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues.
  • You will develop and demonstrate an understanding of the audit approach, methodology, and tools.
  • You will perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with the overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.
  • You will identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.
  • You will research technical accounting issues.
  • You will develop industry expertise.
  • You will prepare audit reports and management letters.
  • You will exercise professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements.
  • You will ensure that documentation is compliant with quality standards.
  • You will work collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or MBA
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant/ ACCA / Licensed CPA, 4-7 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit related field
  • Strong technical skills in accounting including GAAP and GAAS
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Consumer Goods industry preferred
  • Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills, Word, and PowerPoint
