Audit Manager Role Overview

We seek an accomplished Audit Manager to spearhead our audit processes, ensuring meticulous adherence to financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and robust internal controls.

The ideal candidate will orchestrate the planning, execution, and oversight of internal/external audits, identifying areas for improvement and risk mitigation while maintaining an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead Audits with Excellence: Plan, organize, and manage comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure seamless execution.
  • Evaluate Internal Controls: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend actionable improvements to fortify organizational resilience.
  • Safeguard Compliance: Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., IIA, GAAP, IFRS) to maintain stringent regulatory compliance.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess areas of risk across departments and processes to proactively mitigate potential threats.
  • Audit Reporting: Prepare detailed, insightful audit reports highlighting findings and practical recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
  • External Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support to facilitate seamless interactions.
  • Implementation and Follow-up: Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions to guarantee tangible results.
  • Stay Current: Remain abreast of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Team Leadership: Leverage exceptional leadership skills to train, mentor, and empower audit staff, fostering a culture of high-quality audit execution.
  • Results Presentation: Present compelling audit findings to senior management, distilling complex data into actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree is highly desirable)
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CIA, or CISA preferred
  • Minimum 4-5 years of auditing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, audit standards, and risk management frameworks
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in audit software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
