Senior Transaction Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Transaction Advisor to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in transaction advisory services, accounting, and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insightful recommendations to clients.

  • Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
  • Perform thorough financial due diligence on behalf of middle market companies and private equity firms.
  • Aggregate, manipulate, and analyze company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks impacting the company.
  • Prepare detailed reports to present findings to clients.
  • Work closely with Management and Managing Directors to advise clients on how to maximize opportunities and minimize risks related to mergers and acquisitions and provide recommendations in the context of valuation and deal structuring alternatives.
  • Develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks and effectively manage problem resolution.
  • Interface with senior executives of clients and target companies.
  • Manage and prioritize team responsibilities, and consult with Managers, Directors, and Managing Directors as needed.
  • Work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Play a key role in developing relationships with current and prospective clients, identifying market opportunities, and articulating our value proposition.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of applicable work experience including experience in audit or transaction advisory services.
  • Licensed CPA/equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
  • Possess a high level of drive and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
