About the Role

Our company seeks a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to lead manufacturing engineering efforts. This role involves process planning for new components, including cycle time estimation, CNC programming, and machine prove-out.

Key responsibilities include developing and defining manufacturing processes for new components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies; creating CNC programs and conducting first-time-right prove-outs on CNC machines; selecting and validating cutting tools for machining operations; designing and overseeing manufacturing of jigs, fixtures, and gauges; troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues; obtaining first part approval from customers; maintaining process documentation in compliance with quality standards; implementing process improvements and reducing cycle times; and preparing and presenting monthly performance and progress reports.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (BE Mechanical) and 10-14 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering. Proven leadership capabilities, team management experience, strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and define manufacturing processes for new components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
  • Create CNC programs and conduct first-time-right prove-outs on CNC machines.
  • Select and validate cutting tools for machining operations.
