ICT and Telecommunications Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ICT & Telecommunications professional to deliver leading-edge technology solutions across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, publishing and implementing telecommunications systems for projects
  • Developing detailed designs for ICT & Telecommunications Systems, including Structured Cabling Systems, Communications Rooms, Outside Plant Infrastructure, Active ICT Networks, Wireless LAN and Wi-Fi modelling, RF Systems and more
  • Preparing reports, specifications, calculations and drawings for tendering of works
  • Collaborating with other engineers, vendors and contractors throughout project duration
  • Mentoring junior and graduate engineers within a multi-discipline design team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master of Engineering in electronic, computer systems or telecommunications, or Master of Science in Information Technology (Networks)
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Prior experience in mentoring is preferred
  • Pursuing Chartered Engineer (CEng) in a relevant engineering discipline (MIET etc.)
  • Extensive experience in designing, leading, producing and checking ICT and Telecommunications designs, preferably in Asia Pacific, USA, Middle East or UK
  • Understanding of Network design principles and significant experience working within critical environments

The successful candidate will have a strong background in ICT and Telecommunications design, utilising industry standards such as BICSI, ISO, IEEE, Certified Wireless Network Professional Design Guidelines, Cisco and Aruba networking and wireless design guidelines. Vendor certifications demonstrating capability and skill level are required.
