Procurement Leadership Role

We are seeking an accomplished procurement professional to lead our strategic procurement efforts.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our procurement team and driving the development of effective supply chain management strategies. They will monitor stock movements, develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, and create strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely receipt of high-quality materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in procurement activities within a manufacturing industry setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, resulting in cost savings and improved efficiency.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Analytical mind with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems, as well as data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Relevant certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, APICS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Telugu language.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, as needed.
