IT Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our company-wide IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and data security. The ideal candidate will have over 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, managing office setups, supporting end-users, maintaining hardware/software systems, and ensuring compliance with data security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, implement, and manage company-wide IT infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime, scalability, and performance.
  2. Lead the complete IT setup for new office locations, including internet connectivity, LAN/WAN configurations, server and workstation installations, printer/scanner setup, and IT asset procurement.
  3. Provide Level 1 & 2 support to internal users, manage tickets, and ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
  4. Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices (routers, firewalls, switches), ensuring secure and stable network connectivity across departments.
  5. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, ensure proper tracking, warranty renewals, AMC contracts, and periodic audits.
  6. Collaborate with external vendors for procurement, AMC, ISP support, and managed services.
  7. Ensure strict implementation and adherence to cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, antivirus, backup strategies, and data protection policies.
  8. Manage installation, configuration, and updates of business software; monitor license usage and renewals.
  9. Maintain detailed documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and issue resolution logs. Generate regular IT performance reports for management review.
