The role of a Legal Compliance Manager is vital in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining liquidity for real estate projects.

  • Responsibilities include overseeing compliance, preparing documents, providing consulting services, and managing legal affairs related to real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 and applicable state rules.
  • Key responsibilities also include RERA Registration & Compliance: Handling end-to-end registration of new real estate projects, ensuring timely submission of necessary documentation, and liaising with legal, finance, and technical teams.
  • Additionally, Project Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking project details on the RERA portal, preparing quarterly/periodic updates, and ensuring regular reconciliation of project progress and fund utilization.
  • Liaison & Coordination: Acting as the key liaison between the company and RERA authorities, attending hearings, and representing the company in all RERA-related matters.
  • Documentation & Legal: Maintaining accurate records of RERA-related documents, drafting and vetting agreements, and monitoring changes in RERA laws.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Educating internal teams and stakeholders on RERA regulations and updates.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent coordination and communication skills, proficiency in using RERA portals, and the ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) / Commerce / Business Administration or related field, with additional certifications in Real Estate Law, Compliance, or RERA regulations being a plus.
