Job Title: Senior Property Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience specifically within the real estate industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Managing all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support financial planning.
  • Maintaining the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.
  • Collaborating with property management teams to provide financial insights and support for property operations.
  • Effectively using US/UK accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in the real estate industry.
  • Proficiency with US/UK accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate accounting and experience with property management software.
