Expert Network Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced network professional to lead our Data Centre and Campus network design initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, gathering requirements and identifying opportunities with existing and new customers.

  • Collaborate with account managers to understand customer pain points and conduct white board reviews of architectural designs.
  • Deliver presentations on Open Networking Data Centre and Cognitive Campus solutions, CloudVision, Security, Endpoint Security, and Real-time Fabric Monitoring.
  • Design and propose leaf-spine architectures (VxLAN, EVPN) and network overlays to drive sales growth.
  • Validate customer proof-of-concept setups, Data Centre and/or Campus network designs, and network deployments using hands-on testing.
  • Develop design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support.
  • Partner with the sales team to respond to RFP/RFQs.
  • Foster close relationships with Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Represent our company at industry events and conferences.
  • Stay up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and services.
  • Publish white papers on technology and product advancements.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • Certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE are beneficial.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in L2/L3 networking design and implementation is necessary, with a focus on Data Centre.
