PostgreSQL Database Engineer

We are seeking a skilled PostgreSQL database engineer to join our team.

This role will involve managing and optimizing large-scale databases using PostgreSQL, as well as implementing quality control functionality for business rules in the database.

The ideal candidate will have experience with database technologies and be able to migrate business rules from one DB technology to another. Additionally, they should be proficient in designing, building, and developing pipelines using database technologies.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the application and Databricks teams to develop robust data solutions that support security initiatives. They will also implement, monitor, and optimize data processes, ensuring adherence to security and data governance best practices.

In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and accessibility. You will document procedures and workflows associated with data pipelines and share knowledge about the latest database trends and techniques.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing database-driven applications and pipeline development using PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database.
  • Strong understanding of security principles in the context of data.
  • Ability to write, debug, and optimize data transformations and datasets.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using database technologies.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD set for database objects release management.
