Job Title: Identity and Access Specialist

 

About the Role:

  • Synergize Identity Systems: We are seeking a skilled identity specialist to oversee Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring seamless integration and peak performance.
  • Develop RBAC Strategies: The ideal candidate will craft, implement, and manage Role-Based Access Control policies across various systems to maintain highest security standards.
  • Monitor Identity-Related Activities: This role requires in-depth understanding of identity-related activities, access patterns, and anomalies. The chosen candidate must closely monitor these factors and provide detailed reports as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Security Architects: As part of our team, you will work closely with security architects to design and improve our identity infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of security and compliance.
  • Audit Support: Our ideal candidate will provide essential support during audits and compliance efforts by offering identity-related evidence and reports, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding Processes: As an integral member of our team, you will assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including access provisioning/deprovisioning, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Risk Remediation: The successful candidate must identify and rectify identity security risks and misconfigurations, ensuring our system remains secure at all times.
  • Policies and Procedures: You will develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for our Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and standards, guaranteeing clear communication and adherence.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Active Directory Expertise: Our ideal candidate has extensive experience working with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID, with a solid understanding of its intricacies and capabilities.
  • Identity Reporting and Analytics: A deep understanding of identity reporting and analytics is essential for this role, including knowledge of access logs and entitlement reviews.
  • Identity Architecture and Protocols: Familiarity with identity architecture, protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID, and lifecycle management is crucial for success in this position.
  • RBAC Model Understanding: In-depth knowledge of managing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models is necessary to effectively implement and maintain our RBAC policies.
  • Identity Security Fundamentals: A strong grasp of identity security principles, including least privilege and zero trust, is vital for maintaining our high standards of security and compliance.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Azure IAM Features: Familiarity with Azure IAM features, including Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management, is desirable but not mandatory.
  • AWS IAM and Cloud Identity Integrations: Exposure to AWS IAM and cloud identity integrations would be beneficial but not essential for this role.
  • Scripting or Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python would be advantageous but not required.
  • Azure DLP (Purview) Experience: While not mandatory, experience with Azure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Purview would be a valuable asset for this position.
