Job Title: Cloud Storage Solutions Engineer

Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement distributed storage systems including Ceph and ZFS for hybrid environments.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to storage and container orchestration systems.
  • Implement monitoring and logging for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and infrastructure reliability.
  • Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient with Ceph administration and performance tuning.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd) and Helm.
  • Cloud providers experience is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications such as CKA or CKAD are a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based infrastructure services and container orchestration systems. They will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
